My stay at the lodge was enjoyable overall, thanks to its beautiful lakeside location and the fun activities available, like kayaking. The cabin was cute, but the pillows really needed an upgrade, and there were some ants I had to deal with. The pool area was nice, though it did need some cleaning upon arrival. I would say it's a good option if you bring your own pillows and some ant spray!

Rooms

The cabin was cute and had a full fridge and stove, but the pillows were incredibly uncomfortable and felt like sleeping on a flattened cereal box.

The staff were friendly and helpful, especially when we needed a Wi-Fi reboot after it went down.

The lodge is perfectly situated right on the lake, with great access to free kayak rentals and a quick ride into the village.
Dining

There weren't many breakfast options on-site, and we had to drive into town for that, but the nearby coffee shop was convenient.

The pool area was enjoyable, although it needed cleaning the day we arrived. There were also several fire pits that added to the atmosphere.

5.0/10

The lodge has a great outdoor living space and beautiful grounds, making it ideal for enjoying the fresh air and sunset views. While I appreciated the cozy cabins and the attempt to provide a homey feel, the cleanliness and maintenance left much to be desired. The absence of air conditioning during a hot summer was uncomfortable, and some amenities need updating. Overall, it's a decent spot for families looking for fun, but improvements would enhance the experience.

Rooms
The cabins were spacious but showed signs of wear, with some outdated features. Our fridge was old and not very functional, which was a letdown. Rating: 6
Service
The staff was mostly responsive and helpful, particularly with questions about activities. However, some details like Wi-Fi issues needed more proactive management. Rating: 7
Location
The location was beautiful, close to Big Bear Lake and various outdoor activities. It felt secluded enough to enjoy nature while still being near town. Rating: 9
Dining
Dining options on-site were limited, necessitating a drive into town for breakfast and other meals. It would be great to have more choices nearby. Rating: 5
Facilities
The outdoor grills and fire pits were a nice touch, and the overall atmosphere was charming. However, the cleanliness of the patio and pool area could be improved. Rating: 7

I had a pleasant stay with a lot of pros and a few cons. The location is fantastic right on the lake, and using the kayaks for free was a highlight. The cabins are charming, but the pillows were uncomfortable and there were a few ant issues. Overall, it’s a great spot for a summer getaway, but be sure to bring your own pillows.

I just got back from a lovely stay at Noon Lodge at Big Bear Lake, and I'm already dreaming of my return. The cabins are clean and cozy, the outdoor activities are fantastic, and the staff truly made us feel at home. I can't recommend this place enough, especially for summer visits! However, the showers in some cabins are on the smaller side, which might be a consideration for some guests.

Rooms

Our cabin was very clean and cozy, with a comfortable layout. Cabin 10 had an open loft area and a smaller shower, but it was still nice enough for our needs.

5.8/10

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. While the outdoor living space was pleasant and the surrounding landscape was beautiful, the cleanliness and maintenance of the cabin left much to be desired. The pricing felt a bit steep given the issues we encountered, especially with the outdated amenities and lack of air conditioning. Overall, it was a decent stay, but not without its flaws.

Rooms
5.0
Unfortunately, the cabin we stayed in was very cramped and stuffy, especially at night. We could hear every movement from the neighboring cabin, which was quite disruptive.
Service
5.0
Service was somewhat lacking. It felt more transactional than welcoming, which was disappointing.
Location
9.0
The location was fantastic, right by the water and with easy access to canoes and bikes for fun outings.
Dining
5.0
I ended up having to drive into town for breakfast since there were no dining options on-site, which was a bit inconvenient.
Facilities
6.0
While the outdoor spaces and gas grills were nice, the overall facilities felt outdated and in need of some serious upgrades.
